§ 8.03. Port Authority.

Three (3) persons who have strong boating experience shall serve on the Port Authority Board. This board shall meet at least semiannually to evaluate and review the condition and needs of the waterways within the city limits. It shall be the duty and responsibility of this authority to assure regulatory compliance, environmental compliance and safe waterways. The board shall recommend to council solutions to problems brought to their attention by the public and proposals for improvements or maintenance of the waterways.
